In-office Zoom!® whitening with Dr. Nelly Silva, finished in a single visit to our Collegeville office, so it takes one trip from the city.

Every case here was photographed in our office, before and after whitening with Dr. Silva. In several of them a shade tab sits beside the teeth, the same reference we use to record where you start and where you finish.

Results vary with each patient's starting shade and type of staining.
Zoom!® is an in-office whitening system. We apply a hydrogen peroxide whitening gel to the front surfaces of your teeth, and the Zoom light activates it in timed cycles while you rest in the chair.
Because our team runs every step, we control how long the gel stays on, protect your gums from it and check the shade between cycles. You leave with the result the same day rather than building it up over weeks at home.
Take-home trays still have a place for touch-ups after Zoom, and we can talk through that at your visit.
Zoom works on natural enamel that has darkened from everyday life. A short exam first tells us whether it is the right tool for your smile.
Your visit follows the same four steps every time, so you know what is happening and why.
We check your teeth and gums, note any crowns or fillings and record your starting shade with a shade guide.
Your lips and gums are covered with a protective barrier so the whitening gel only touches enamel.
The gel goes on and the Zoom light is positioned. We repeat timed cycles and check progress between them.
We compare your new shade with your starting one and walk you through how to keep it.

Dr. Silva earned her DMD at Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, where she now teaches as a Clinical Associate Professor. Her postgraduate training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies focused on aesthetic and neuromuscular dentistry.
She plans each whitening visit herself and invites patients to call her Nelly.

Our office sits in Collegeville, in Montgomery County northwest of Philadelphia. Since Zoom is completed in one appointment, patients from the city make a single trip instead of returning for a series of visits.
Your fee depends on whether a cleaning or other care is needed first, so we quote it after your exam rather than guess. We offer payment plans, and patients without dental insurance can join our dental savings plan.
Answers to what patients ask us most before their first Zoom visit.
Plan for about an hour in the chair. That covers protecting your gums, the timed whitening cycles under the Zoom light and a final shade check. Your result is visible before you leave.
It depends mostly on habits. Coffee, tea, red wine and tobacco gradually restain enamel, while regular cleanings and good home care help the shade hold. At your visit we talk through touch-up options that fit how you eat and drink.
That depends on your starting shade and the kind of staining. Yellow and brown stains from food, drinks and age usually respond well, while gray staining from inside the tooth responds less. We record your starting shade and compare it with your finished shade at the end of the visit.
No. Whitening gel works on natural enamel, so crowns, veneers, bonding and fillings keep their current color. If you are planning new front restorations, whitening first lets us match them to your brighter shade.
For the first 48 hours, skip strongly colored foods and drinks such as coffee, tea, red wine, berries and tomato sauce, and avoid tobacco. Teeth pick up stain most easily right after whitening. We give you written aftercare before you go home.
Tell us when you would like your brighter smile by, and we will plan your exam and whitening around it. One visit to Collegeville is all it takes.
