Whitening Results From Our Own Patients

Each pair shows the same teeth before and after whitening in our office. Everyday yellowing lifts faster than deep gray staining, so Dr. Silva records your starting shade first.

Our own patients. Results vary with the type and depth of staining.

The Program

How Whitening for Life Works for Pottstown Patients

Whitening for Life™ is our program for patients who look after their teeth between visits. It exists because cost so often stands between people and professional whitening.

01

Built Around Cleanings

You ask about the program at a hygiene appointment, and new patients can ask at their first. Whitening becomes part of care you already keep.

02

Professional Strength

Dentist-supervised whitening uses stronger peroxide than drugstore strips and starts with an exam, so cavities and sensitive spots are known first.

03

Terms in Plain Words

Our team explains what the program includes and what keeps you enrolled before you commit.

Candidates

Who the Program Suits

Whitening lightens natural enamel. It suits healthy teeth and gums, at any adult age.

A Good Fit

  • Yellowing from coffee, tea or red wine
  • Teeth that have darkened with age
  • Stains that store-bought kits did not lift
  • Patients who keep regular hygiene visits

Treated First or Planned Around

  • Cavities and gum disease are treated before whitening
  • Crowns, veneers and fillings keep their current shade
  • Gum recession and sensitive spots get a gentler plan
  • Gray tetracycline stains need a longer KöR plan

Insurance and Payment

Paying for Whitening for Life

Dental insurance rarely covers whitening, which is the gap this program is meant to close. We accept all PPO dental insurance plans for the cleanings and exams it is built around, but not Medicaid. Patients without insurance can join our dental savings plan, and payment plans are available.

Questions

FAQ About Whitening for Life in Pottstown, PA

Can I get my teeth whitened for free?

Whitening for Life makes ongoing professional whitening affordable for patients who keep up with their hygiene visits. Current terms are explained in person, so ask at your next cleaning.

Can a 70 year old's teeth be whitened?

Yes. Age alone does not rule out whitening. Older smiles often have crowns, fillings or gum recession, so Dr. Silva checks those first and plans around them.

Which teeth whitening method suits seniors?

The one that suits your teeth and gums. Gradual whitening can be easier on sensitive teeth, while Zoom! suits a quick change before an event. We recommend a route after your exam.

What does professional teeth whitening cost?

It depends on the method and on how deep your stains are. We share current pricing at your visit, before any whitening begins.

Where do Pottstown patients come for the program?

Our only office is at 399 Arcola Road in Collegeville, east of Pottstown via Route 422. We are an independent practice, not affiliated with any other dental office.
