Why Trappe Patients Choose Our Office

Our only office is at 399 Arcola Road in Collegeville, a short drive from Trappe. We are independent, so the dentist who examines you is the dentist who plans your care.

01

A Dentist Who Teaches

Dr. Silva is a Clinical Associate Professor at Temple's Kornberg School of Dentistry and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.

02

Calmer Visits

The Wand delivers numbing slowly and steadily. Conscious sedation is available for patients who feel anxious in the chair.

03

Imaging on Site

Our Vatech CT scanner shows teeth, roots and jaw in 3D. The iTero Element scanner takes digital impressions without trays.

04

Gums and Sleep Covered

Gum disease and sleep apnea are treated here too, so a referral elsewhere is rarely the first step.

FAQ

FAQ About a Dentist in Trappe, PA

Straight answers to what Trappe patients ask us most. Tap a question to open it.

Is your office in Trappe?

Our only office is at 399 Arcola Road in Collegeville, which shares the 19426 ZIP code with Trappe. It is a short drive from town. We have no other locations, so you see the same team at every visit.

Which dental insurance do you accept?

We are in-network with all PPO dental insurance plans. We do not accept Medicaid. Patients without insurance can join our dental savings plan, and payment plans are available for larger treatment.

Can I be seen quickly for a broken tooth?

Reach out as soon as it happens and tell us it is urgent. Recent patients with a broken tooth have been seen the same day they called. Until your visit, rinse with warm water, keep any broken pieces and chew on the other side.

Do you see children and teens?

Yes. We offer pediatric dentistry with cleanings, fluoride, sealants, habit appliances and sports guards. Sedation dentistry for children is available for young patients who need help staying calm.

Is it normal for gums to bleed when I brush?

No. Bleeding gums are a common early sign of gum inflammation. Our team treats gum disease with deep cleaning and periodontal laser treatment, and Dr. Strassberg handles advanced cases with grafts or pocket reduction.

Can a dentist help with snoring or sleep apnea?

For many adults, yes. Dr. Silva is a Diplomate in Dental Sleep Medicine and fits custom oral appliances that hold the lower jaw forward during sleep to help keep the airway open. She also treats jaw pain and TMD.

I have not seen a dentist in years. Where do I start?

Start with a new patient visit. We do a full exam and any imaging needed, then lay out a plan in order of priority. Patients who return after a long gap are treated without judgment.
