Dr. Nelly Silva plans, places and restores your implant in one office with its own 3D CT scan, a straight drive east of Pottstown on US-422.

Two of Dr. Silva's implant cases, before treatment and after the final teeth. Each began with a 3D scan.

Individual results vary.
A dental implant replaces the root as well as the visible tooth. A titanium post is set in the jawbone, the bone bonds to it, and a crown, bridge or denture is fixed on top.
Many patients are passed between a surgeon who places the post and a dentist who builds the tooth. Here Dr. Silva does both, and Dr. Michael Strassberg treats the gums, so one team follows your case from scan to final bite.
Most adults who have lost a tooth, or are about to, can be considered. Gum health, bone volume and overall health shape the plan.
The implant fills the gap without reshaping the healthy teeth beside it.
Two implants can carry a fixed bridge.
All-on-X sets a full arch of fixed teeth on a few implants.
Implants hold a denture steady while you eat and talk.
We plan the implant first and can graft the socket at the extraction.
Bone shrinks over time, but grafting can often rebuild it.
Our laser and non-surgical periodontal treatments clear gum disease before any post goes in.

Your scan is taken down the hall from the chair where your implant is placed, with no imaging trip elsewhere.
Dr. Silva is very knowledgeable and easy to speak with. I went for a second opinion on implants, she studied the X-rays and was able to give me her opinion at that appt.

All three replace missing teeth. They differ in what holds them and what happens to the teeth and bone around the gap.
Timing depends on your bone, your gums and how many teeth are replaced. Most single implants take a few months from placement to final tooth.

We examine your teeth and gums and take a CT scan. You leave knowing the plan, its order and its cost.
Gum disease, extractions and bone grafts come first when needed.
With the area numbed, and sedation if you choose it, the post is set in the bone. Expect tenderness for a few days.
Over a few months the bone bonds to the post, with a temporary tooth in the meantime.
We scan with the iTero, then fit your crown, bridge or full arch to your bite. Regular cleanings keep it healthy.

Cost depends on how many teeth are replaced, any extraction or graft, and the restoration on top. After your exam and scan, you get the full cost before treatment begins.
We accept all PPO dental insurance plans and check what yours covers. We do not accept Medicaid.
No dental insurance? Our dental savings plan is an option.
Payment plans spread the cost of treatment over time.
What patients ask before starting treatment.
There is no flat price, because the number of implants, any graft and the restoration all change the total. Your plan is priced after your CT scan.
Oral surgeons, periodontists and general dentists with implant training all place implants. Dr. Silva holds a Fellowship from the American Dental Implant Association and both places and restores them.
Healing takes a few months while the bone bonds to the post. Smoking and some health conditions affect healing, so we review your health history first.
The area is fully numbed before we start, and conscious sedation is available if you feel anxious. Expect some tenderness for a few days after placement.
Yes. Dr. Silva reviews your scans and the plan you were given, then explains where she agrees or would plan differently.
