Identafi Product Features

Identafi is a small, compact light that has a similar look and feel as a dental instrument, which is why it is perfect to integrate into the exam process. Identafi is perfect for enhancing the visualization of a indistinct or occult lesion in the mouth. Identafi engages the patient during the oral screening process and increases awareness about the cancer that affects 54,000 people. The light itself is simple to use and functioned trouble-free.

Wearing the reusable Identafi filtered eyewear enhances the visual effects and allows for transmission of reflected light. The Identafi is then switched to Violet for a second observation.The photosensitive glasses block the violet light and allow you to observe the tissues natural fluorescence. Violet light enhances your normal tissue’s natural fluorescence; however, suspicious tissue appears dark because of its loss of fluorescence. When abnormalities are present, the Identafi is switched to Amber light, which enhances the normal tissues’ reflectance properties so we can directly observe the difference between the normal and abnormal tissues’ vasculature.
