Current Positions Available:

Essential Functions:

Record Management

• See that records are securely stored and handled in compliance with legal requirements, including the HIPPS privacy and security regulations if applicable
• Accurately record medical and dental histories
• Accurately file patient information
• Arrange patient charts and
• Assist in the administration of the recall system

Office Participation

• Be an active participant in monthly team meetings
• Promote team concept by interacting with others in the office

Personnel Requirement

Education / Requirement

• Must be licensed to practice in state and meet other applicable state requirements
• Must have completed at least 2 years of post-secondary education from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Experience providing prophylaxis and taking X-rays
• Legible handwriting for notations in the patient chart

Interpersonal

• Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, and coworkers
• Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients and staff
• Work collaboratively with doctors to provide the highest quality patient care
• Participate in weekly training meetings

Other Functions:

• Work with the administrative team member to schedule patient appointments
• Manage inventory, instruments, and equipment
• Participate in community-related events and projects

Office Assistant

Advanced Dentistry of Collegeville is seeking an Office Assistant. When you join our growing practice, you’ll work with exceptionally trained teams equipped with leading-edge technologies, providing patients of all ages with a full spectrum of services.

Job Summary:

An Office Assistant must demonstrate the ability to multi-task, manage simultaneous communications, and set priorities while maintaining exceptional first-line patient service and interpersonal behaviors in a confidential manner. This position is initially focused on the call center. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a faced paced setting, have strong computer skills, and the ability to manage a large volume of calls. The OA possesses the ability to work independently while maintaining a calm demeanor and good judgment.

• This position will require 40 hours per week with an occasional evening
• Answering multiple phone lines
• Scheduling patients
• Making confirmation calls
• Completing referral forms
